Edgar Dearn Makona
Kenya
Being born and raised in Kenya, culture and the study of humanity has always been my inspiration. My beautiful country of Kenya has a diverse and unique set of cultural values and a heritage drawn from 42 ethnic groups. This has inspired me to think beyond Kenya and Africa, anthropology with its origins in the natural sciences, the humanities, and the social sciences has given me a global picture. The same picture that has brought the world to Kenya and taken Kenya to the world. ( lees verder)

( lees verder)

People who make their life a successful life, without the safe shadow of their parents, completely on their own abilities and struggles are always a source of inspiration for me. The little boys and girls who have no one to take care of them, wandering in the streets in search of food and money hurt me deep in my heart. ( lees verder)
